JHERONIMUS BOSCH (c. 1450 – 1516) THE VENETIAN PAINTINGS RESTORED

at the Gallerie dell’Accademia, Venice

The four panels with the Visions of the Afterlife by Hieronymus Bosch, depicting The Fall oh the Damned, Hell, The Earthly Paradise and The Ascension into Heaven, usually on display in the Museum of Palazzo Grimani, are currently diplayed at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice as part of the temporary exhibition Jheronimus Bosch (c. 1450 – 1516). The Venetian Paintigs Restored. 

This exhibition also includes the Triptych of St. Liberata by the same Dutch painter.

The above mentioned paintings, along with the Triptych of the Hermit Saints, will later be shown in the exhibition Jheronimus Bosch – Visions of a genius in the Netherlands, in the Het Noordbrabants Museum (13 February – 8 May 2016). Afterwards, the Visions of Afterlife and the Triptych of St. Liberata will continue their European tour reaching the Museo Nacional del Prado, whose rooms will host the exhibition  Bosch. The Centenary Exhibition (31 May – 11 September 2016).
